For a person interested in history this was a treat. The accomodation is good and it is situated within a working farm There are signs to indicate past history and farm practises.

I visited the Brickendon Convict Site for $12, and found that visiting the gardens of the homestead about a km away was also included. Really enjoyed my afternoon here.

Working estate, you need to visit the Historic side of the farm to get instructions to the estate. The gardens could have been better looked after.

How lucky was I that good friends opted to get married here rather than in Brisbane their hometown. Even better that I stayed in 1 of the adorable little cottages to take in the full wonder of the Estate. Such a charming place to visit,...More

The tour of the gardens around this majestic house were beautiful. The house has been looked after by descendents of the original inhabitants. Unfortunately it is not ooen for viewings as it is currently inhabited.
