This place is part of the Woolmers family history, we did this site after our Woolmers tour. This is a working family farm for the last 7 generations. It is worth a visit so you get more of the family history.

We called in here after visiting Longford looking for family history. It is an interesting collection of buildings - fascinating that it’s still in the same family generations later. Worth a look.

Great place to see how people lived and worked in the 1800’s, how they used and shared convicts. Still a working farm, sheep, chooks and ducks wandering around. Friendly sheep as you enter grounds, love a scratch.

This was a very different experience. It gave an excellent idea of life in early Tasmania - the farming, the convict system and the early settlers. It is not often one family has owned a property since its conception. There is a lot to do:...More
