Only chosen this walk mainly because its close to Port Arthur Historical site but it did not disappointed us. The walk to mount brown is a pleasant 2 hours walk with nice view along the way. The route leading to the summit is not well...More

I wanted to go to the Crescent Bay sand dunes, following Mount Brown and Crescent Bay. Once there I was in my elements. That was the best dunes to enjoy. It is huge and we can run down to the beach or roll or even...More

This is a stunning area of Tasman Peninsula, and Crescent Bay is gorgeous. It can only be reached by foot or boat. The track is reasonable, although initial sand hills can be discouraging. Wildflowers in November are a particular attraction. On the day I walked...More

Took a visitor along this track and onto the beach and was truly amazed at the fresh air, clean beach and no crowds. Tide was in so a little harder to walk, but terrific in the sun. Easy to find.

Easy access from Remarkable Cave car park. Mt Brown affords lovely views of Crescent Bay and the coastline of the Three Capes Track toward Arthurs Peak, Cape Pillar and Tasman Island.

Lovely heathland walk with spectacular views across the coast. Wildflower profusion in the season and quite a few out of season. Sandy going and fairly easy underfoot.

The start of the walk (at the car park) offered us magnificent views already. This track is around 1.5 hours drive from Hobart city. Tracks were incredibly clear and view of Cape Raoul (towards the right) along the way was splendid. Would recommend families to...More
