Don't waste your money, the maze isn't a maze at all and the slide is completely underwhelming. If you don't have any other chance to see the rainforest then this is OK but many more free walks in national parks. Grab the 60 great short...More
Dismal Swamp yep very dismal drove there twice between 16/20 July and guess what...Not Open...even though the sign on gate said open. Gate was securely locked. Wasted time and fuel in our holiday to be disappointed. Sorry won't be bothering again. O and Web Site...More

Sorry we are closed for Winter - June July & August re opening 1st September. Sorry google says"Tarkine Forest Adventures at Dismal Swamp Closed for Winter". Road signs have closed signage. Website says closed June July & August. We do try to advertise as much...More
The service at the Forest Adventure was terrible. A wonder of the natural world, incredible bush surrounds and we could not even muster a smile!
We had hoped to stay for afternoon tea but felt unwelcome.
Yes, I shrieked, no, he didn't. I wasn't expecting the speed on that slide down but so fun. Only $2 per slide. Entry fee separate.

We visited after being advised by Stanley information centre it was worthwhile, unfortunately we do not agree, the entry fee is not worth the experience, the slide ride is fast and bumpy and if you suffer from a bad back, neck or hip issues etc...More
Even though the country there needs rain this was a lovely place to walk through. The slide down to the Dismal Swamp was a bit bumpy but fun for this old lady of 74 and the board walks are really well organised and interesting. Great...More
We spend a good couple of hours wandering around with the 5yo & getting"lost"checking out the sculptures. Very friendly pademelons!
Felt the price was quite high given we didn't go on the slide.
Staff were probably not as enthusiastic as they could be.
