Amazing views of the Nut (extinct volcano) and ocean

A lovely town to visit and take in the views! We had fresh seafood from the Stanely Seafood Co-op that you can have take a way or dine in upstairs!

The short sharp walk to the top is worth it for the views. There is lots of wildlife to been seen, they are comfortable having people in their space and you can get close to them. It can be very windy but the 360 degree views are amazing.

Great place- very different to most places. We caught the chair lift up and was so glad we did (we walked down). The walk around is littered with majestic views of the coastline. The chairlift up with 4 kids and 2 adults was $30 but it was worth it as the walk up is steep and with the wind can... More

Amazing! We walked the Nut every day we were here. Stunning and lots of pademelons and wallabys seen on every walk. Tracks are well maintained. A must see

It is a park. It is a walk. It is 5 stars for a short walk, and stunning views. 21 characters to go..

The walk was amazing. Our 6 and 9 year olds walked the distance no worries. The tracks are well maintained and each lookout offered breathtaking views. Facilities were good. Cafe offers some great souvenirs.

Although we were there on a holiday & the lift was closed, it was breathtaking! The climb up was a bit steep but well worth it!

Climbing the nut is well worth the effort. You can take the chair lift but the exercise is good. Great views all around Stanley.

We climbed up and down The Nut rather than using the chairlift. It was great exercise and the views all around the circuit walk are wonderful! I was surprised at the variation in vegetation as we made our way around.
