Took the six hour lunch cruise on a perfect weather day in Strahan. The friendliness of the staff stood out. The lunch had fresh food and property prepared. The Captain provided a running commentary that was informative and insightful. There are three levels of pricing for the cruise. The lowest price had seats in the middle on the first deck,... More

We were treated to a fantastic day out on a terrific vessel in the most beautiful surrounds. The children loved it. Great day out. We had the "cheap seats" in the middle of the boat which was fine as the kids were outside the boat nearly the whole time. Take snacks and drinks onboard as only lunch is provided (which... More

Had a great day on this cruise. We paid extra for upstairs window seats, and thought it was worthwhile. It cost us $160 each. For this we had roomy window seats and free morning tea , but other seats could be just as good. For part of our cruise it was raining so the window seat wasn't any better then... More

Six of us travelled on this magnificent train from Strahan to Queenstown. Interesting great trip with information about the local area and history. Staff were great and helpful. However trip one way in my opinion would be better. Trip back stopping at same places was a little boring and tiresome. Train ride one way swapping sides halfway would suffice. Then... More

I could not fault our trip up the Gordon river in the (almost new) cat operated by Heritage cruises. A great day including a trip around the harbour, out to Hell's Gates and a look at how the fish farms are screwing up the environment but that's another story. We had the gold tickets but I'm not sure they were... More

This was a really good trip in a well equipped boat with a friendly and helpful crew on a beautiful Summer evening. The views from the boat were stunning. The trip to Sarah's Island fascinating with a really informative guide. The buffet dinner was great and there was lots to eat and on board drink prices for wine were surprisingly... More

We booked on this tour and decided to do the Gold class. We were not at all disappointed. The commentary was very good and informative. The guides on Sarah Island were exceptional story tellers. The trip up the Gordon River was beautiful. We highly recommend this trip.

This is a family run and operated cruise in this beautiful old town. And it shows. The new ship is well appointed and comfortable. The crew very efficient but friendly and you feel like a part of the family, especially with the full access to the bridge and the captain. Commentary provided by the captain the whole way is very...
