The play which is the longest running play in Australia and is coming up for 25 years of continuous playing in January 2019. Highly recommended. Nowhere to hide and very possible you will become part of the show but it is all part of a...More

We visited last night on the advice of the girls at the Tourist Bureau in town. We took their advice and went after having completed our cruise that day as the story follows on from a visit to Sarah Island. This was great family fun....More

the most enjoyable performance I have ever attended. I enjoy live theatre and have seen many big time shows around the planet, but none of them was a patch on this show. Be ready to laugh and participate for the best night's entertainment in Australia,...More

This is one of those show you just don't want to miss. It is very informative after going on the World Heritage Cruise which puts the final puzzle together.

This long running show is not to be missed if you are in Strahan for the night. For $20+ you laugh and probably participate in the show, and most ofvthe audience get a part to play. A wonderful hour and a half.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching The Shop that never was. It had everything. Comedy, audience participation to the max and extremely informative for anyone interested in Australian convict history. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Strahan

Great play with lots of audience involvement. Heaps of history crammed into a really funny re-telling of events in the history of Sarah Island. My kids are still saying “liberty or death” on our driving trip around Tassie! Well worth going, enjoyable for all ages.

We enjoyed the performance by Tara, Mike and Zac. I loved the simplicity of the set, the puns throughout the show and the coziness of the theatre. I'm not sure I completely understand the story, but I look forward to researching that a little further...More

We had a hilarious time at the play that has been running for 25 years by the local theatre company. Very well performed with audience interaction that made it more fun to watch. Highly recommended whilst in Strahan.

I think the question has been answered. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. I probably would not have gone to see it if not friends recommending it.

Just pay at the door. Try and get there early. They will do their best to find you a seat but we did see people being turned away at the last minute as the venue was full. Great show. Make the effort to see it.

It is just on the wharf in Strahan. In front of where the red boat leaves. You should not need to book. It was busy, but plenty of seating. You can book where you book cruises and train.
