The working saw mill display and crafted woodwork on display and for sale at the nearby “gift” shop provided for an interesting break in our travels. I was impressed by the skills used and the various woods used to make the products. The products on...More

Having visited the sawmill next door and seeing the timber being milled it was very interesting to see the skills involved in turning out these products. Huon pine is the main theme and there are some truly fantastic items available and who can resist this...More

This is basically a gift shop but it is worth a look to see the neat things that they have made out of wood. Nice place to visit before the Morrison' Sawmill demonstration.

Wilderness Woodworks is worth the look to see more of the Huon pine. In terms of what they had to sell that was made from the pine, I found this disappointing and was expecting much more like other woodworks I have been to.

Wr stoped in here after visiting Morrisons sawmill which is adjacent. I was surprised at the versatility of wod especially Huon pine. All of the products are top quality and the prices reflect that. The place is for sale.

Love the smell of Huon pine as you enter. Some things are expensive but stunning, I managed to buy a gift for a friend that was reasonably priced. A bit like a gallery with some artwork on display/sale.

If you are in the market for beautifully carved wooden gift ideas, this is a place definitely worth checking out. Lot's of visually appealing, carefully crafted objects (including art, furniture and other household items). Prices reflect the hours that have been put into each item.
