Only 10 mins from Strahan, and well worth the drive. Don't forget to take toboggans or the like with you, so you can head down those dunes quickly! Some lovely views from the top, but my family were more interested in heading back to the...More

10 mins from Strahan by car - huge sandhills. Take boogy boards. The steep first climb is a challenge but l am a senior and crawled up with a bit of puff. Mostly flat after that. Take your thongs for the walk to the sea....More

The Henty Dunes are fun for kids young and old as well as being an amazing occurrence that most city slickers very rarely see. Great to slide down but remember to hire your toboggans before you get to the dunes themselves.

We visited the Henty Dunes with the Strahan ATV Tours. Such a cool place to visit, and drive around. Be sure to bring warm clothing.

What an amazing place. Don’t miss it if you are in nearby Strahan. It’s only 15 kilometres away. The dunes are enormous and the area they cover is massive. Such a wonder of nature!

It's a steep climb to the dunes! Well there are two ways but one is vertical, a straight run up the dunes, using your hands to help you climb. The views are great at the top and it's such a fun experience running up and...More

The best way to see the dunes is through the Strahan ATV tour, for sure. Great photography to be had on the dunes. Ocean Beach out the back of them. I'm pretty sure without a guide, I'd get totally lost if I went wandering around...More
