You leave the coast and drive through farmland which gives way to native and plantation forests. The ferns on the roadside and lichen on the fences give a good indication of the weather, as, for much of the year it can be wet and cold....More

Bring your woollies- it’s cold Cold cold but so beautiful- the lookout and the walls are magnificent and the countryside is gorgeous- rug up and take your picnic or bbq meat and have a great outing

We drove here today and found it to be just a nice place , like all of Tasmania it was very pretty. Not sure that I would recommend driving all the way there for the result.

Possibly the lower lookout would be accessible from memory :) but unsure If there were a few stair at the beginning heading down there
