We didn't stay long, but arrived in time for an old-school cow milking, during which everybody (including yours truly) had the opportunity to sit on a little wooden stool and squeeze milk out of an udder. Also saw sheep shearing, had a crack at whip cracking and watched the working dog in action.

Last year we travelled all the way to Scotland and only saw highland cows in the distance. Who knew you could see them in Victoria? Seriously, a very interesting place with helpful volunteers providing history lessons.

A pretty spot with enough to entertain primary school aged children. The activities are all scheduled in the afternoon.

Great little heritage farm, great old house with interesting displays. Kids love the animals, and milking the cow. They really like the sheep shearing and whip cracking too. You can get there by 130pm and be able to see everything and all the demonstrations in between. We spent around 2 hours there, and saw all the demonstrations.

Really great historical walks over a truly incredible island. We took the whole day and really made the most if it. Nice cafe on the premises too. Delightful farmers market and Highland cows roaming free!!!

Had a great time watching a Draught horse being trained. The Thai curry pie I had at the cafe was scrumptious. Just the right amount of ginger and chilli with a nice endorphin boost from the not too hot heat of the chilli to boot. Perfect!

This attraction was a part of the package we got so we visited. I feel that this would have been a good educational visit for those with interest in the history of Phillip Island. The ground of the park was nice and beautiful.

Dear KingWhale Thanks for your review and feedback of your recent visit to Churchill Island Heritage Farm. The scenery certainly is beautiful with the waters of Western Port forming a beautiful backdrop to the farm. I hope you managed time to see the daily farming activities as well as the restored homestead and cottages. Thanks again for your review. Kind... More

Brilliant day for toddlers to pre-teens. The kids had a go at milking a cow and riding a wagon, lots of displays to watch too. Well maintained historical houses and plenty to look at. We would definitely go back. Take a picnic as the restaurant is quite small and has limited space.

We took our 2 grand daughters as part of 3 park pass. You certainly don't need to get here to early before shows start. We took our time and were done in an hour then had to wait around for 2pm start when bus loads Asian tourists arrived. We also did the walk to fill in time and my 2... More
