What a Historical Site!

What a Historical Site to see on the Island. It is a fascinating sight and great understanding of how we developed over time.

We were on Kelly's Island Labor Day week, this is the best attraction and was interesting. There is not much to do on the island unless you want to go to the beach or camp. There are only a few shops and restaurants. We rented a golf cart and went around the island. We were over there for about 2... More

Very unique geological formations of the Wisconsin glacier. Nicely preserved site and easy access for most people.

This site has a spillway of glacial grooves - one of only a few in the world. Ice carved these channels into solid rock and then as it melted created these neat features. The site is set into a hill and does require some stair climbing and uneven ground walking; but, is otherwise easy to find; there is good parking;... More

Something really neat to see when you are on the island. We had rented a golf cart to tour the island and made sure this was one of our stops. The steps up to the viewing area are a little rough so make sure to wear good shoes..and be careful. But once you are there its really something to see... More

While visiting Kelley's for a couple of days, our party of four rented a golf cart and drove around the Island, stopping at the Glacier Grooves site to check them out. There is a parking area and stairs leading up to a viewing area. The grooves are enclosed by a chain-link fence, and by climbing a series of steps situated... More

We homeschool our children. This was a wonderful Science AND History experience for our children. The detailed signs were interesting & informative. Recommend walking a little trail to the quarry as well.

The park is interesting, but the signage needs to be updated. Many of the explanations were too faded to read.

This was a very nice stop and it only takes about 15 minutes to see. It is amazing to imagine what it took to make the grooves.
