This museum is very reasonable priced but not open all hours so check the website before you go. It is decorated lovely at Christmas. Doesn't take long to view it so don't plan a long visit.

Beautifully decorated for the holidays, Glendower Mansion in Lebanon, Ohio, sits majestically on the hill overlooking town. This Greek revival mansion was built in 1845 and was home to only three owners, including the Civil War General Durbin Ward (Union). The mansion is stunningly decorated...More

Very nice tour from local women who definitely have a passion for local history. Very well-preserved and the furnishings are period. Decorated for the holiday - added benefit!

Glendower defines the stately elegance of the 1845 era. Docents in hoop skirts are knowledgeable and welcoming. The Glendower is named after a Welsh hero, Prince Owen Glendower. We re-visit the Glendower for occasional concerts on the expansive lawn and for the Civil War Campout,...More
