Guilford Lake is a nice place to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the boars on the water, the beach, walking and other activities. It is family friendly and free to visit. Clean and neat and attractive.

Rented a pontoon boat at Marks Landing ate lunch there also, took the kids to the beach, explored the small but quaint campground. It is a real hidden gem they also have a pavilion to rent for gatherings.

Guilford Lake State Park is a really nice and clean park for anybody... especially families. They have a nice swimming area, basketball court, kids play area, picnic area and really nice, clean bathrooms with showers. You must check it out if you're in the area.
