Great hike in Summer or Winter

This is a great hike and not as crowded as some others in the area. We took our 2.5 year old and she was able to walk most of the trail.

One of my favorite hikes in Hocking Hills. The cliffs an waterfall are breathtaking. The trails are more rugged, not as well maintained, but that added to the adventure. There are many steps, and you will be crossing across the creek a couple of times, be prepared with your shoes

Great place to hike and pretty in February too. The falls are amazing. All the parks around hocking hills are great for family bonding time.

Much less crowded and much more technical than the other trails in the Hocking Hills region. Both the Rim and Gorge trails are wonderful for working up a sweat with many elevation changes, and scrambling over rocks. The trails could have been better marked in places - luckily, I had taken a picture of the trail map to refer to.... More

We visited numerous hikes in the area. This one had amazing views but was fairly challenging. Do not try this with kids.

We've done the rim hike several times and probably will again. I think it's one of the prettiest hikes in the Hocking Hills area. The trail goes close to drop offs and cliffs, this is not a trail for small or unsupervised children or for hiking with a non-leashed pet.

A good pick for a quick bimble or a longer stretch. Very pretty and gorgeous in the fall colours. Some good up and down so better than some others for getting a sweat on. Do take a camera!

First of all, there are a couple of handicapped spaces in the parking lot at the trailhead, but if anyone in your party is not fully mobile ( wheelchair, stroller, cast, crutches) do not even get out of the car here. Instead, go on down the road to the path through Conkle's Hollow. You won't even make it to map... More

Cantwell Cliffs is probably the least traveled of the six major hiking areas in the Hocking Hills area. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the trail along the valley floor. We look forward to returning to try the rim trail. The rock formations are amazing. The forest is lined with beautiful green from moss, ferns and evergreen trees. This is... More
