This place is incredible! We visited in the beginning of December and it was a bit icy but well worth the trek. We can’t wait to visit again!

My fiancé and I were out exploring the area and this was just as scenic and rich with history as the rest of the areas. The hike was very easy and the rock house provides lots of photo opportunities and places to explore. I’d recommend...More

We visited Rock House on our last day in Hocking Kills and we’re so glad we took the time to make the hike. It was really cool to see this natural cave. We went in October hoping to see fall leaves, but no luck. Instead,...More

The state park is showing signs of old age and a low maintenance budget. The trails are in need of repair, especially the steps going down to the Rock House. The Rock House doesn’t change. It’s a short hike and the scenery is natural nature...More

This was a moderately easy hike. The day we went was hot and humid but inside the rock house it was nice and cool and refreshing. The view from inside were beautiful and amazing how this was formed

This was a wonderful experience. The Rock House steps can be very slippery and we saw two people fall while we were there. You may need to use a flash light in the rock house to see so that you don't trip. This hike is...More

This is a very neat place to visit! I do not recommend taking children to this location because there is a very steep cliff with no railing and if you don’t pay close attention you could fall. Otherwise it is very cool! Hard to get...More

Best quick hike to most cave like place we visited- a true rock house. Can almost visualize explorers hiding out in there during a harsh winter. Steps coming down were slick and some adults struggling to climb them. Worth a stop.

There is a parking lot that is pretty big. It's not too far of a hike. Maybe 1/2 mile. Check out their website and it shows you a map and says 1/2 mi and 1/2 hr to hike it. I tried to include the website here but it... More
