We go here all time, it usually very clean and the people are polite. We play Pokemon Go here, lots of stops for people who know what that means. But dog friendly and great walking too.

This beach is absolutely beautiful! It is clean and well maintained. The kids love the playground in the sand. And I could stare at the view all day.

There's enough beach to go around for lounging,sand castles and volleyball. Theres a rose garden for good smells and a meditative walk. Yummy icecream just a few blocks away.

The most beautiful sunsets have been recorded on digital as well as well, just people enjoying the many facets of this park.....the rose garden, the little restaurant, the beach, the volleyball, the view !!! Love it !!

This park is owned by the Lorain County MetroParks. Very clean and safe with a beautiful rose garden and view of Lake Erie.

Great for viewing sunsets. There is a park on the beach and across the street. Tennis courts ate not well kept but can be played on. Lots of Pokemon to catch and a gym battle for the game as well. Swimming in the summer is...More

HI Karen you can google Lorain Port Authority for information regarding tours of the lighthouse and the river nature tours. Due to TA restrictions I cannot post the web link.

I don't think it starts till Memorial Day weekend, but call the city of Lorain to make sure.
