I visited the showing of black and white photos of the bridges of a Paris earlier in the year. Most recently I viewed photography, paintings and pottery display. In one show.

The Art Center has brought Chihuly, Don Drumm and the Lego art exhibits to Mansfield as well as others. I only go for the exhibits as I find the crowd kind of snooty for classes and other events - unfortunately.

I like visiting this museum particularly when they have scheduled events. the facility is very small but staff are friendly and helpful. The full museum is only 1/2 - 1 hour of afternoon pleasure.

Having grown up in Mansfield, I am delighted the Art Center remains an important centerpiece there. Lots of great art and quality programs. And I never miss the gallery shop where I often find the perfect gift.

We visited for the Lego art exhibit. Touring the exhibit only took an hour. The creations were wonderful to view. We tried to figure out how they were constructed. There is a room in the back for eager kids to try to build their own.
