you are in awe as you pull up because it looks like a castle..we did the self guided tour with audio handsets to listen to at certain places of interest. it was really amazing

There is no air conditioning on the tour. I would not suggest touring on a hot day. We toured in the spring and it was very comfortable.

It is not a good place for a pet and I would not expect it to be allowed.

They can deny you entry even from the parking lot whenever they want without notice ! If you plan to visit you better call the same day to make sure your allowed to enter the property at all !
