My wife and I toured The Castle in a about 90 minutes last weekend. The Gothic Revival home was beautiful and reasonably well preserved while modified to allow comfortable occupancy by the owners until a few years ago. Heroic efforts have been undertaken to reacquire...More

Some interesting info on the tour. The short video at the beginning was informative. And I will say the house is interesting and ecclectic. However, our young female docent was not very personable. No directions were given on what should not be touched, and I...More

Beautiful mansion! Price was good. The only complaint I have is the tour is 2 hours. A little lengthy and took up a good part of our day. I wish they let you walk through on our own.

Oh, my - this place is a stunning example of the mid-1800's era. It is a restored home pertinent to the life lived in those times. From the early beginnings of a potters' cabin to the mansion it is today is a worth-while tour!!!! The...More

Not to be missed if you like history. Rooms were stuffed with antiques. Our guide was great. He had a lot of knowledge to share. There were items here I have never seen before. Very well cared for house.
