First of all, it is EXTREMELY difficult to plan visits to attractions that are only open a few days a week, a few hours of the day. We found this throughout Ohio and definitely this site. So be sure to call (don't trust the website)...More

Budgets always direct how many hours/days sites and attractions of any type can be open. We, too, wish that we could offer more hours for our visitors! With that said, the restored Harding Home will open on May 4, 2019 with expanded hours of 10...More

The Harding Home is a great historic home with much original detail. But, it is closed until late 2018 for a total refurbishing. Should be really something after that!!

Thanks for understanding the inconvenience during our restoration. The Home will reopen on May 4, 2019, and then the entire site -- with the new Harding Presidential Center -- will debut in spring 2020.

The Harding Home is interesting and contains much that is authentic to the President and his era. The man who took us through made it an excellent visit. Unlike most docents who have only superficial knowledge, our Docent... who I would name but Trip Advisor...More

Yes, Shannon (I'll go ahead and say his name) is a marvelous guide. We try to give you more than the scant information you find if you Google information or use an old history book! There so much more to the Hardings, just as there...More

My Mother and I throughly enjoyed our tour of the Harding's home. I learned so much information about his campaign and their lifestyle from viewing the home. I appreciated Shannon's explanation of each room and the interesting background of many of the artifacts.

This isn't really Shannon's website, but sometimes it seems like it is! He's a great guide who is a pro at mixing the behind-the-scenes stories with the wonderful collection of original objects we have. History definitely is not boring!!

The Harding home is a lovely old house with character. I love how most things in the house are Harding originals. The docent Shannon’s knowledge of his subject is substantial, but it’s a shame it was delivered like a comedian. I came to get history,...More
