A fairly quiet island compared to most tourist islands, but with enough attractions on the island or nearby to please all ages. My wife calls it the "island of happy men", and all the women I've met there are also happy.

Fine place for a very short visit. Beaches decent, and it appears that there are numerous rental possibilities for short or longer term breaks. However, there is very little to do other than ride bikes and golf carts around. There is no down town to...More

The best part of the trip was the ferry ride over (and back). At first I thought I would really like the island because it wasn't as crowded as South Bass or Kelly's but there was a reason. We rented a golf cart and had...More

My family enjoys camping in state parks and there seems to be a dearth of information about this one. It is a very small and isolated campground located on Middle Bass Island in Ohio, accessible by private boat, plane, or ferry (spring through fall). We...More

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you like getting ripped off. Was a terrible place, nothing like they said it would be.

Middle Bass is quiet compared to put in Bay. It's a smaller island but still have much to offer. You get around either by foot or golf cart. There is a general store and restaurant. The nightlife takes place at St.hazards resort. If you want...More

Sorry I just saw this, I don't log on to TripAdvisor often. Middle Bass Island is a ferry ride away from Port Clinton, OH, which is between Toledo and Cleveland on the Lake Erie Shore. I hope that help :)

Although our visit was on a weekday, it's hard to imagine that anything at Middle Bass sells out at this stage. It is still a largely undiscovered place. This is not anything like Put In Bay, it's still a work in progress... More
