Went to tour the museum. Its cute and the gift shop was nice but neither were very large or impressive. the actual grounds were nice and the houses were nice to go in

This is a nice stop. Not too long not too short. The museum is informative about the war of 1812 and the Ohio valley region. Enlightening and a nice way to understand history. Kids enjoyed the fort.

On a good sunny day perhaps if there is no snow on the ground. The visitor center is usually open but the snow would probably prevent you from walking into the fort itself.

The Visitor Center and Museum are open year-round. The museum houses hundreds of artifacts, most of which were found on site. There's also a 15 minute video on the history of the fort. The reconstructed fort itself is closed... More
