We were just riding around the island when we ran across this place. We took a quick look around and it was rather interesting so I'm glad we happened across it.

This free museum was worth seeing. However, they no longer function as a fish hatchery but had displays showing what Ohio State University did when it functioned as one

My first visit here was when I was little and I still think it's neat as an adult. It's off the beaten path away from the party scene which can be nice.

My husband and I went here in September during Ohio states open house and went to Gibraltar Island, free. This was an awesome experience that only happens once a year. The staff was very friendly and I would recommend going there again.

Staff knows a lot about the history of fish breeding and release, which is not done here anymore. There are species there to see and it is very interesting.
