We were visiting the island for the weekend and had Heinemann Winery and cave on our radar. Being from St. Louis, I'm really into wines and spoiled on some really great ones so I was looking forward to tasting what Heinemann had to offer. We...More

Great place and always stop here while in put in bay. In season is very nice patio/ outdoor seating. Love to get the horseradish cheddar cheese spread and crackers to have with wine. Always bring a bottle back to MI

We had to check out this place bc I love wine and it’s been around forever. I did taste a couple of their wines and they just weren’t for me. I normally drink Cabernet so that is what I ordered but I didn’t find it...More

Previous reviews were spot on that were positive!! We had a fantastic time. One of those places where you have to do it once. The cave is cool and THE cave to visit. It's one of a kind where the remaining island caves are purely...More

Nothing special. Service was kinda slow and bar tender was not helpful. Wine was ok. Vineyards were neat to see while driving around the island.

The staff was amazing. We purchased the tour tickets, but decided not to take the tour. The front attendant reimbursed us without us even asking. I gave three stars because they are a tad over priced. The wine samples were $2.50 each and the cheese...More

For the price of $8 we got a tour of the winery ( family proud too ), and the cave crystal with the largest geode. Both very interesting. With the ticket you got a 5 oz glass of wine too. Worth doing at this family...More

We stopped by here on our visit to Put-In-Bay. The wines were surprisingly good. Large pours for $2.50 tastings. This place is not fancy by any means, very rustic. The staff was friendly and helpful.
