We dock our boat at West Branch. Been coming to this lake for about 3 years now. The campground is clean & well kept. Reserve your campsite as early as possible. Spots fill up fast. Marina has ok food. I'd suggest bringing your own tho.

Campground has its own boat launch and beach. Has flush toilets and showers. You need reservations for holidays and most summer weekends. Also has a large public beach that is separate from the campground. Nice place for boating

The camping loops are nicely separated by trees, allowing good privacy. The campground hosts are efficient and very friendly and helpful. We took a kayak tour with the naturalist and it was a nice, educational outing. The bathrooms were really fancy and clean, but some of the interior showers could use some new paint. There could be a little more... More

We went the Wednesday after Labor Day, so there was no crowd. Although the long weekend must have been very crowded, the park was CLEAN! There were 3 handicapped persons in our party, (no wheelchairs) and one person with asthma. The walk winded us, but was not exhausting. Beach is long and deep. Water increases depth slowly. Bouys mark the... More

My son and I took a trip to the beach there to go swimming and the lake was over crowded with seaweed from the beach area to maybe 10 or 20 feet out. On top of that there was trash and feminine hygiene products floating around. No matter where you laid your towel or set your chair someone was there... More

I live not far from this state park so I go here often with my family. The beach is clean, and free, and its a great place to spend a day swimming and/or having a picnic or BBQ. There are no life guards though.

This place is wonderful! Very clean, quiet, private. It is by far my favorite place to camp. They have activities for kids, boating, swimming, movies, it is a nice place.

We love this campground! Everyone is always friendly. Shower house/restrooms are clean and safe. We spent a lot of time at the campground beach area this past week while camping at the state park. It was wonderful and so nice to have a beach right in the camp ground, makes it so nice for running back to the campsite for... More
