Not a bad place to stay, but more geared towards families with young children as the water park is small and there is virtually nothing for adults or kids over the age of 10 to DO. The water rides are few and not for adults.

We came for the day to the water park, we did not stay at the hotel. The kids had a great time. They lived the wave pool and slides. Wish they had a lazy river. It isn't as big as a few of the other water parks around here but it is also not a crowded. They were well staffed... More

I've never been to any other waterparks in Sandusky so I cannot compare Castaway Bay with them. But comparing from my previous experiences on waterparks: I like it because; 1) It was great for my 4-year-old son : Bigger kids would love this place too but probably have more fun with other waterparks with more thrilling slides. 2) Guards are... During visiting Cedar Point we decided to see Castaway Bay Water Park. It is indoor water park having so much fun with water for children. There is separate ticket for this area.

We went to Cedar Point and stayed at Castaway Bay. The rooms are pretty average, but all seemed clean. Staff was friendly, but the true gem was the water park. The indoor park is clean and well staffed. My kids ages 12, 10, 8 all loved it. There was something for all of them and the water coaster was a... More

The water park was upsetting. The slides were sut down. Some of the life gurds were great some of them walked around like that didnt want to be there. The food in the morning was really good. The view from are room was a joke. There was water damage on the ceiling.

The facility is clean and well-staffed. Daytime passes can be purchased for $25 online (saving $4)-- but, there is a handling charge. Restaurants are attached to facility so it is possible to eat and return to water park. It is designed more for children than teens, but even teens would be entertained for an afternoon. (We had a teen and... More

We have an 11 and 6 year old. They had a blast (and we did too) There is something for all ages. Lifeguards are everywhere and friendly- but be aware- several didn't speak English. Slides: Raft ride/slide was a blast. We got there on Sunday and the place was packed. We waited until Monday to ride and got there when... More

From what I could tell this was a small indoor water park. I only used the hot tub, which was indoor/outdoor. Towels were provided at the pool, so that was nice.
