I absolutely love visiting this museum and how fortunate it is literally in our backyard! My advice is before you go to always check their website to see what is on display at that time to give your trip an extra fun aspect. (it is always great of course but so fun bonuses never hurt!) TMA is a really great institution. I don't tend to visit a lot of art museums, but they have an impressive collection - new, old, and ancient, in a variety of mediums. They have great temporary/traveling exhibits, and some great programs to engage with the community and make things fun. And did I mention that it's free?! (They are happy... More

So many pictures by so many artists! So much from ancient times and modern as well! When I was young, I thought ALL places had a museum so rich, vibrant, alive! Sadly, now I know better. Go, and be amazed!

A very interesting exhibit. You have to love this museum. It is free. Parking is only $7.00 and the special exhibits are frequent and thought provoking.

I went to the Paristyle to listen and see Lee child talk about his new book, Night School. A beautiful place for this event, plenty of room, great service. I was in the front row.
