Alan Cottrill's studio is a treasure trove. He is a very gifted artist and his work is outside and inside of his studio. It's definitely a "must" to add to your list of things to do in Zanesville, Ohio. I pass by the outside and enjoy his artwork mastery often and have toured through the inside more than once. The cost... More

What a pleasant surprise find. Stopped to get gas and pulled up TA to see what attractions were near by and Alan's studio popped up. It was a late Sunday afternoon and we thought it might be closed. Lucky for us it wasn't! Alan was working in his studio and stopped what he was working on and took time to... More

The sculptures and studio are simply amazing! Alan and his assistant were so welcoming and took time from their art to explain the entire process to us. It was amazing to speak with the artist himself and hear his story. My three sons ages 11, 14 and 17 were totally fascinated, and that's saying something.

Did not actually go in but they have several sculptures outside that are absolutely awesome. They have all kinds from animals to humans.

A personal experience with the charming and intelligent and creative Alan Cottrell whose work graces the world. Take pleasure in the experience...learn...and feast your eyes. A humble context exposing brilliant work. DO NOT MISS the two sarcophagus on display on the second floor that Alan has... More

Amazing artwork. Very intetesting, and able to tour at your own pace. We got to see people actually making statues and wax figures as we walked around. Very friendly atmosphere

Just happened upon this wonderful place! We walked in & Alan was sculpting - he stopped what he was doing & came over & explained to us what he was doing! Make sure you go upstairs to his gallery - what a very talented man!

As you come off the highway you start seeing sculptures on the sidewalk which lead you to the studio- nice surprise! Alan was there behind the counter and was so friendly, as was his staff. The bottom floor included displays and educational materials that explain the many steps involved in producing a finished sculpture. The second level was set up... More

The sculptures on display are true works of art. The figures look very lifelike, both human and animal sculptures!
