I can't believe I'm the first to review this Oklahoma treasure. It shouldn't be THAT surprising since I lived in Oklahoma for more than 20 years and never heard of it ... and my Dad taught Oklahoma history & geography for years! Anyway, this is...More

Found a grumpy mason, who gruffly asked us what we were doing and when we told him we were looking for a geocache he angrily stated, "I wish they would take it out of here." The cache was gone, so he got his wish. However, his...More

Several years ago we attended a wedding at this site. It was elegant, comfortable and allot of room for the reception. The circle, long drive added a sense of royalty to the place!

My husband is a Mason and we visited primarily for his interest, but the architecture grabbed me. One must keep in mind that this building was built in the 1920s and the atmosphere reflects that. The interior designers, Marion and Katherine Davidson, later designed in...More

I have seen other reviews on this and the newer portion of it was never the state capitol building. Guthrie was the state capital and the original portion of the building was. None the less it is well worth the time to check this out.

All of the elegance you would expect from the building where President Roosevelt signed Oklahoma's statehood. LOOK FOR THE VERY SPECIAL PEN. Admire the marble everywhere, every color the architecture, wonderful. Take the tour and ask questions, you'll find the answers amazing.

A very interesting place to visit. Our tour guide was exceptional. He answered every question we had and covered the history very well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of Masons.

This is an amazing tribute to architecture in North Central Oklahoma. A lot of the building has been restored and it is well taken care of. The amazing stained glass, golden accents, and marble floors are something to behold.

Enjoyed the visit but it would be better taking the trip in cooler weather. Beautiful architecture and stain glass windows throughout the Temple.

Once of the finest structures in Oklahoma. This was the original seat of the state until it was relocated to Oklahoma City. The outside and inside of the building are very well preserved and a gem of Oklahoma Architecture.

The Scottish Rite temple is massive with its impressive columns and lavish, historical interior. The building is big enough to host a state dinner with marble floors, stained glass, and gold finishing. It truly feels like you've stepped back in time. A wedding here, especially...More
