This is an excellent ride! If you love vistas and overlooks, you’ll love it! There are parking areas for picture taking! This road is impassible in snowy or foggy conditions! Signage prohibits driving under such conditions!

This is a very scenic drive if visited in the correct time of the year. Another "Add to the "To See" List" for eastern Oklahoma. Add a meal at the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge and sight-seeing in Mena, Arkansas and it's an excellent half day activity.
