Wonderful stop for a nice walk with my dog. Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. As for the Vikings coming here? Whose to say they did not? We cannot be sure of who could have and did explore our country before us, we need...More

True or not, this place is worth the trip. If for nothing else than the hike and scenery, it's worth it. The Runestone itself is down in a ravine...for lack of a better term...in a wooden enclosure. I actually had to look to see the...More

This was a neat stop. Beautiful little walk. The Runestone was interesting but the walk was nicer. Short but steep back up. Worth a quick stop.

We made this a stop on our way to another park. It has good scenery, hiking trails, and an interesting history. If your family likes studying Vikings, like mine, they will enjoy this park.

The park is rich with historic value from the days of when the Vikings/Norsemen roamed North America. This would be an attraction to add to the "To Do" List for spending a day in eastern Oklahoma.
