Guided tours once a day and unguided tours (with guide book provided) all day. A very interesting slice of Oklahoma oil and government history (Marland was an Oklahoma governor) . Grounds also have a hiking trail that passes the outbuildings and winds around to view...More

The only reason I didn't give the Marland Estate five stars was because of comparison with the Biltmore in Asheville, NC. However, this is a must see for Oklahoma history. The history of E W Marland is also fascinating. Both the architecture and the art...More

We did the unguided tour but enjoyed the historical qualities of the mansion. The helpful tour book gave lots of information.

This is well kept and the grounds are beautiful. Interesting story, but they need new tour guides that can hold attention and tell the story. Also, they are lacking in customer service which is sad because this is really an Oklahoma gem.

I had always heard about the Marland Mansion, but at 67 I finally got to tour it, and it was amazing. We had this wonderful tour guide who had grown up in Ponca City, and what a tour guide she was imparting all sorts of...More

Take the guided tour. The staff is very knowledgeable and have a wealth of hidden information. This is a very well, museum quality, preserved home/mansion. The art is excellent, the atmosphere exceptional, and the story behind it all... well, it is not only entertaining, but...More
