We suggest you take your family, but hold on tight to little hands. It is not interactive but is cool to see. Spend about 30 min to 1 hour

This was just the starting point of Marland's luxury homes. The mansion he built later, just before his wealth crashed, dwarfs this great place. There are lots of interesting artifacts that add to the personality of the place.

Heard of this from a friend. Didn't know such a show place existed. Interesting visit and the town of Ponca City is a neat place to visit.

Marland’s Grand Home is definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in Oklahoma history, 101 Ranch, American Indian artifacts, or the DAR. The Marlands had a far-reaching impact on building Ponca City; many directions that are unexpected like polo. Self-guided tour is easily followed with...More

This was the house oil baron Marland built before he built the Palace on the Prairie Estate. It is lovely, but self guided. Would have been so much nicer to have a docent give a tour.

A step back in time, this oilman's mansion is the gem of Ponca City. Make sure you take the docent guided tour. This mansion cost 5.5 million to build in 1926.

The house was interesting, but the real gems were the American Indian artifacts and the 101 Ranch museum. Be sure to watch the 101 ranch video set up on the bar downstairs. It tells the fascinating story of the last of the open range and...More
