I went with my granddaughter mainly to visit the children's museum there, but we ended up spending some time on the little playground that is outside the museum. I saw where the first house built in Tulsa is, it is there in the park. I have seen pictures of this house but never knew where it was, it had been moved here from its original location. I can cross that off my list! The playground is a lot of fun, but it started to rain and we went inside "Discoverylab" the museum for kids there, This was a lot of fun for her. I understand it will be relocated to The Gathering Place at some point so I hope they do something special with this building for the park next.…

This is a residential neighborhood historical park. You will be amazed at the history of the park which dates back to the 1800s when the Indian tribes were moved to Oklahoma. This land and areas surrounding the part were the home for the Cherokee and Creek Indians. The part also houses a play adventure for young children through 5th grade.…

We love Owen Park! It isn’t too crowded and has beautiful spots to bring a picnic or walk around the pond and feed the ducks and geese. The neighborhood is such a gem and we love the children’s museum!

Couldn't resist stopping by this park because of it's name. Attractive with some pretty fountains. Visited at night, so didn't have the opportunity to hike in it. But it was nice driving through it.
