When you see the breakers on the ocean and mist, you understand the need for the lighthouse.

Visiting the lighthouse costs nothing. There were volunteers manning it who answered all our questions and even made restaurant recommendations. It is a beautiful view from there and well worth the stop.

Well sign posted to get off the 101, and access road in good condition, car park area at lighthouse a bit uneven but no problem to drive on or walk across. The light house people had small gift shop and were very friendly. We worth...More

This lighthouse is easily accessible through the State Park and out to the mouth of the Coquille. You can get very close to the lighthouse by car and improved foot path.

This little lighthouse is a darling gift shop. We did have to make a couple of visits to be able to go inside. The ground around it is very rocky and lots of driftwood makes it a challenge to navigate for one of us.

Enjoyed checking out the lighthouse and scenery around it. Nice state park too. Glad I came here in the way out of town. I like that it is small.

I was excited to finally get to this lighthouse... but unfortunately, it was disappointing once actually seeing it in person! Its just a lot smaller than I imagined it!

You can easily view this from the "town" side of the river, or, you can take the 10-12 minute drive thru Bullard's park to very near the base of the lighthouse, itself, which I did. Interesting historical sign, putting this smallish old lighthouse into context....More

The lighthouse was beautiful, as most are, but there wasn't signage for it, we just drove toward the river until we found it. The area it is in is at the end of 'old town', and there wasn't landscaping or any apparent pride in the...More

Have been to many Oregon beaches, but this is the first time we have seen so many people surf fishing. They were catching Surf Perch right on the beach and lots of them.

I love light houses. This one is a little different design then you usually see along the Oregon coast. It is fun to walk out on the large rocks but beware, the waves sneak in and my husband got wet! Unfortunately we got there on...More

There is parkimg nearby and a paved walkway right up to the lighthouse. There shouldn't be any problems getting there with a walker.

To park, yes. Turning around maybe. It depends on how big of truck and trailer and how many other guests there are. However the road it is on its not a busy road and banking into the driveway or out shouldn't be difficult. I... More

You can not park close to the Lighthouse, single lane road. There is a wider lot further back, but the parking can be full. The campground is nearby, maybe you can leave the trailer there.
