My wife and I visited this spot during our recent trip to Oregon to visit my sister-in-law. We had a clear day and went to the coast, looking for a nice winter's walk on the beach. The beach area was very nice, although there was a lot of sea wrack on the upper edge of the beach -- a bit... More

Turn in at the Bullard's Beach sign off hwy 101 and follow the long road straight to the Coquille Lighthouse and the beach. The Park has many tent and RV sites under pretty Myrtle wood trees. If you stay on the road past the park you pass by massive dunes to the driftwood strewn beach and jetty. A Must See!

This state park is well-maintained, plenty of bathrooms, camp spots, and picnic tables, and the beach is right there! Fees for camping, but not for spending the afternoon, or the whole day. Nice place to stop for a picnic, a stroll on the beach, or braving the Pacific Ocean. Also, dogs are welcome, as long as they're on leashes.

We love going to this beach to find fossils and petrified wood, especially after a storm. Great beach combing.

Bullard Beach State Park is on the North side of the bay from Bandon, Oregon. This free park has boat launching ramps, camping sites and picnic areas. Of course the beach is the reason for its being. With the Pacific surf crashing on the North jetty and miles of open beach this is a beautiful place. There are huge piles... More

We just drove through, as we were staying in Bandon, but as campers, we checked out the campground, and it was nice! We definitely want to come back with the truck camper, some time. There's lots of very nice areas for picknicking, too! We were really impressed with this park. The drive goes back to the lighthouse and beach area.... More

This campground is very well-maintained. Bathrooms are clean and showers are hot. The park rangers and hosts are helpful, courteous, and friendly. We stayed in B loop where there were many trees and bushes between the spots. There are paths to the beach from the campground, but we did not use them. Instead we drove to the day-use area, which... Folks who love car camping, rving, or staying in Yurts, know that the Oregon State Parks are among the best in the country. Bullards Beach State Park is right at the top of the list. There are three campground loops that include shaded very private spaces as well as sunny open spaces. The campsites are spacious and the grouns are... More

Bullard’s Beach is located on the north side of the Coquille River bar. It stretches from the north jetty about 3 miles north. Therefore, beach is very large and sparsely populated. This is the access to the Coquille river lighthouse. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the Bandon area, to experience this beach and views. There is camping... More
