I haven't camped here but I've been to the park next to the river several times in different seasons and always love it. In the warm weather it's never crowded and in the winter it's serene and beautiful. It's easy to get to without having to travel a distance from Bend. Great for individuals or families.

My daughter really enjoyed going tubing down the creek at Tumalo State Park with her friends. It was a warm day and the water was great!

My brother moved to BEND recently so we decided to do one more camping trip for the year and stay at this State Park. Two different camp hosts; Don and Barry, along with both their wives. Both couples were amazing. One morning the power went out in the campground. They were on it!! Only 10 minutes. Bathrooms and showers were... More

Grreat medium sized campground. Was quiet and people were friendly when I was there . Stayed in a yurt and it was clean and warm. Good areas to walk around , firewood and ice sales on premise. Very enjoyable

We love camping in Central Oregon in our small travel trailer. We have an awesome array of great camping places and Tumalo State Park is among the best. Right now part of the campground area is closed for the winter but B Loop is open. It's a cozy place with full hookups, on site hosts and Rangers who check in... More

Plenty of activities to do in this area but hiking is probably our favorite. Easiest hike is to the platform to view the falls but an even better viewing point is under the falls, literally! There is a trail leading down to the creek before you get to the platform so pay attention. You can stand under the falls and... More

This state park has 3 camping loops but two of them close in early October, when we were there. The bathrooms are new and kept very clean. I recommend making a reservation, especially if you want an RV site with hook-ups. They also have 7 yurts which can be reserved.

Stayed for 3 nights while we hiked and mountain biked in the Bend area. Our site (16) was very small -- other sites were a bit bigger but none in the B and C loop had much privacy. A sites down by the river looked much nicer. Day use area is beautiful. Bathrooms (free hot, or at least warm showers)... More

We camped here for 5days and loved every minute! Peaceful, clean with great amenities. The Yurts looked like a fun place to stay. Look forward to visiting again.
