Time your visit when the flowers are in full bloom. I think we were about a week late, but it was still beautiful and worth the visit. It can be a bit hard to find as we were expecting it to be much bigger.

I grew up with Azalea Park, and some changes have made me sad over the years but others are great, Kids Town playground, the Gazebo, the sound stage for free summer concerts every Sunday most of the summer, the beautiful Cappella with it's inherent spirituality, the lights of Coastal Christmas in December, and the smell of wild Azaleas when they... We were there to view the annual Christmas light display. My daughter was in from out of town. Great

Just minutes from our house in Brookings, this lovely park is aptly named - a world of colors and beauty. Open to the public, there is a chapel and play park for children. Most famous during the holidays when a score of local elves but together the most dazzling lighted extravaganza, the magical sea creatures come to life and make... More

In the last year or so Disc Golf has come to Azalea Park. Baskets and Tee Pads are in good shape. As the park grows and changes the holes for the game do too. This variety and element of surprise lends to the fun of the game. KidTown Playground at Azalea Park is awesome all year round with summer concerts... More

Capela by the sea is interesting, kid town is awesome if you go there with kids. It is a nice stroll around a park for a break.

My young friend held a birthday party at Azalea one evening for her one year old. It was quite enjoyable. Azalea Park has plenty of playground equipment for ages 3-12 (approximately). It is a clean park that has lots of room to roam, a bathroom and several picnic tables. If you are traveling through Brookings and have kids it is... More

We went here and enjoyed a nice walk in the park . While we were there we came upon a small deer feeding on flowers on the sidewalk trail. He would just look at us then continue eating. Got great pictures.
