In the last year or so Disc Golf has come to Azalea Park. Baskets and Tee Pads are in good shape. As the park grows and changes the holes for the game do too. This variety and element of surprise lends to the fun of the game. KidTown Playground at Azalea Park is awesome all year round with summer concerts... More

Capela by the sea is interesting, kid town is awesome if you go there with kids. It is a nice stroll around a park for a break.

My young friend held a birthday party at Azalea one evening for her one year old. It was quite enjoyable. Azalea Park has plenty of playground equipment for ages 3-12 (approximately). It is a clean park that has lots of room to roam, a bathroom and several picnic tables. If you are traveling through Brookings and have kids it is... More

We went here and enjoyed a nice walk in the park . While we were there we came upon a small deer feeding on flowers on the sidewalk trail. He would just look at us then continue eating. Got great pictures.

The great small town of Brookings, has a great hidden treasure in Azalea. So beautifully laid out with charming walking paths and beautiful plants, not to mention the great children's playground. Just a relaxing joy to behold

We came here in early August and had a nice walk with the dogs in a partially shaded park. No flowers this time of the year. The playground looked super, but we didn't have kids. The walk in the woods on the wood chip path was nice for the dogs, but not what we would call "stellar". We did walk... More

We had to look very carefully to find some flowers... and when we wanted to visit the beautiful chapel-like house it was closed and the person in charge at that time did not show up. A shame, but still interesting from the outside.

Missed the azalea blooms. This park has two sections. One section, kept up by the local garden club is very beautiful and well manicured. Lots of different plants and trees. The second part of the park, encompassing the vast expanse of park; not so well kept up. Azaleas are not pruned. No bedding plants to help with the garden. And... More
