The rocks on the shore make for interesting crashing waves. There were a lot of box jellyfish on the shore to watch out for.

Do not miss this if you visit the Oregon coast....One of the most beautiful places on the coast, and you can camp there if you are lucky enough to get a reservation.

The lumber mill seems to be running really late. I wonder if it runs all night it is 9:40 and I am really ready to go to bed. Unbelievable noise. I will never stay here again

Harris Beach State Park is where I go to shoot sunsets. Often there are beautiful settings for what I want. They are inspiring and often, I use them to encourage others.

This is a beautiful view but the beach is kind of dirty. Well populated so not a calm place. Restrooms were dirty but that is the norm for a state recreational area in this region.

I had remembered Harris Beach from a stay in the early 2000's, and was happy to find it again. Great place. Lots of spaces, but your space feels private. Great beach!
