Ate here on the first night and on the last night of our stay. There's enough nick knacks on the walls to stir conversation. The hamburger, fries and pulled pork were cooked very well to taste which is why we ate here twice. Priced right...More

Stopped here on recommendation from a friend. Travelling with a dog is challenging to find a place that will let them sit with you at a table. Welcomed immediately by friendly staff and shown to neat patio seating. Nothing fancy just plain picnic tables like...More

If my wife and I are going to spend $50 for fish&chips, a cheeseburger and a couple of drinks, this is where we’re going to do it. We’ve tried several places for fish & chips and this has been the best by far. Good quality...More

The idea of combining a restaurant with a hardware store is unique but we sure paid for the privilege of eating there. The food was certainly not unique and, while not bad, it was pretty average. However, the menu prices were extremely high and despite...More

I kept hearing about how the hardware store had a great restaurant, and they do! Even though this place is very dog friendly with a front porch outside for them to be, it was a rainy March weekend, so I opted for a to-go order....More

A very fun place to pick up odds and ends. Need a light bulb, battery or tool? The combo of hardware store, bar and restaurant is novel. The food is unexpectedly great....who thought that you could get such culinary delights? The halibut fish & chips...More

We were told that this place has the best fish and chips in town. The restaurant is what I am reviewing and is named screw and brew. The price is quite high, considering there is really no atmosphere....the restaurant is literally in the middle of...More

Halibut burger was delicious. Good tots. Fries not bad. Great condiment selection. Several local beers to sample. Very quirky set up with less than 10 tables inserted into area between bar and hardware shop. Service is slow and not very attentive. Not worth the price.

Found it by accident as we were trying to avoid going back to our depressing hotel room. Incredibly friendly bar staff, jolly spot, and its a hardware shop too! We were sorry we didn't eat here as the food smelt great. Really good fun place...More
