Came here before visiting the dam to have a picnic. Nice spots in the shade. wandered around after lunch - not a lot to see going on in the hatchery bins, but the sturgeon viewing pond was fun to look at.

Great way to learn about the way fish hatcheries work. The exhibit of the 10 foot long sturgeon was especially interesting. Nice gift shop, as well, with Columbia River Valley themed merchandise.

I went to see this with my 15-year-old son. We both loved it. Seeing the fish was fascinating and very educational.
