We went to visit my sister in Coos Bay a couple of days after Christmas, but before New Years. Took this time to be away from most of the visitors. After a very busy day it is nice to walk along the Boardwalk and just...More

This Boardwalk has a nice display about the development of the waterfront and Coos Bay itself over time. One really cool display was the different wood species that were displayed and how much they represented Oregon’s lumber industry. There is also a tugboat. We were...More

Maybe it was rain, but I didn’t see anything exciting about the boardwalk. Perhaps on a nice day strolling it would be fun.

We took a stroll along the Boardwalk and found history plaques within the gondola. It is so clean along the shoreline, making it really enjoyable. Perfect for an after dinner stroll.

It was a very pleasant sunny day, still windy but the views and fresh air made out for the negative. This is one of the nice places Oregon has to offer for free!, nature, wind and water!

The boardwalk has a little fish and chips shop, and a number of boats owned by locals for fishing and sailing. It can be a nice place to stop and unload your boat, or to enjoy a morning in the mist and waters of the...More

Great little port with some history. Nice walk. Could also see docked boats and coast guard. Looks nicer with tide in.
