Cheer the heroine. Boo the villain. Enjoy the burlesque olios between scenes. Local theatre enthusiasts write, direct and perform plays in the style of the Alaska gold rush theatre. Coquille's history is linked to both the San Francisco and Alaskan gold rush as something of...More

You boo and hiss at the villian and cheer the good guys. Lots and lots of fun. The performances are put on during the summer. The cast are all volunteers. It's a great show!

They have some great show including "A Christmas Carol" to get you in the holiday mood. You wouldn't expect this type of venue in a small Oregon town.

This theatre is rather small and not very modern but the plays they put on for a small theatre group are excellant. I was very impressed.

I have gone to the Sawdust Theatre several years. There is a new local themed play every summer, running from Memorial Day through Labor Day, accompanied with honky-tonk sing-along music and vaudeville style oleos.
