Beautiful falls on the RT 30 Trail. It does involve some walking & more vigorous if you want to get close. It’s well worth it.

We visited Multnomah, Bridal Veil and Latourell and this was least impressive. Sure it is beautiful fall but hard to compete with the other two. We did not hike down to the bottom.

One of three we saw on this day. Least amount of walking! Quick walk up and clean restrooms. Ample parking as well as clean trail.

An easy walk from the ample parking area. Huge fall, with a small creek exiting the bottom. Creek is accessible for wading.

Easy view from parking lot, and better view from short walk to base. Worth a stop at western edge of Historic Columbia Gorge. Well worth a stop.

You can see the lower falls from the parking lot, which is a good spot to take a picture, or take a short walk to the base. Parking can be a challenge here.

These falls are such a great substitute for hiking, since Multnomah falls hiking trails are closed due to the fires in 2017. The trails are shady and paved , moderate intensity. Easy access to a couple of waterfalls!

This was a recommended hike as an option for a hike to a waterfall that wasn’t closed because of the fire. Many people just go to the base of the falls, but we liked the 2.4 mile loop to see two different waterfalls. The waterfalls...More
