We are a family owned and operated candy shop on the Oregon coast. We have used the same recipes for the past seventy years we have been in business. Come on by and watch us make our candy right there in the shop! We specialize in fresh, homemade...more

A family tradition for over 60 years, yep, I'm that old. Every trip to Lincoln City and Taft always ended with a stop at Ainslee's in Depot Bay. I always found it hard to eat just one, so of course we bought a pound or...More

Our family visited this candy shop and it’s not just a candy store but a living museum: they have an ancient salt water taffy machine. This machine is old! They make the taffy right before your eyes, from start to finish. You get to see...More

Stop in and try to pick a favorite flavor, won’t be just one. It’s interesting to watch them make the taffy and you can watch the process. Then go across the street and watch the spouting horn, just don’t get too close, gorgeous.

The staff was super friendly at Ainslee's, but they weren't making taffy at the time. Depoe Bay wouldn't be Depoe Bay without these longtime shops. The taffy was good and the chocolates were even better. Disclaimer, I am a chocolate lover so I may be...More

Always have to stop in and buy taffy when in Depoe Bay. It’s also fun to watch the machine pulling the taffy.

A very large selection of salt water taffy, popcorn and Carmel corn. They used to make all of it fresh in the store. They still make some during the summer for the tourist but most (like almost all the taffy on the coast) is made...More

So I consider myself to be somewhat of a popcorn snob! This Carmel corn was amazing! We ate three bags over the course of a few days and then went back and got some for friends at home! The best I have had!!

Stopped at Ainslee's to fix our sweet tooth problem! After taffy and candy, we were set! Great, flavorful taffy plus some great candies. The chocolate covered english toffee is great! You owe it to yourself to grab some!

We always stop here to buy our taffy. A few times over the past 20 + years that we made it to the coast but couldn't make it to Ainslee's and bought elsewhere. It was so bad, it went in the garbage. No one does...More

I've been getting taffy and divinity at Ainslee's for over 60 years. It's a must-do stop whenever I'm in Depoe Bay. The taffy is always fresh and top-notch. The weather doesn't always allow them to make divinity, but if they have it, you won't regret...More
