We had a family reunion here and really had a great time. There is a nice picnic area with lots of trees and shelter from any strong breezes. It was a clean area and plenty of picnic tables. The beach is only a short walk...More

Awesome park; ocean, sand, rocks, woods, creek, picnic areas, parking, etc. I was just walking through on the way from Pacific City to Newport, but paused there for pictures and just hanging out for awhile. There were a fair number of people, but not crowded;...More

The beaches in this part of the Oregon coast are not your sandy, easy walking beaches. The shore is a little sandy but lots of small rocks and dirt mixed in. Make sure you wear good shoes. Also lots of seaweed in this area.

Fogarty is a great beach for walking, as well as for watching and listening to the ocean. It is not as busy as other beaches and has great sand. People look for agates there, make sand castles, walk and sit in chairs on the beach....More

Lots to explore at low tide. Starfish, rocks, waves, and beach. Crashing waves and cliffs. Done get stuck beyond the cliff to the north when the tide comes in.

There is no overnight camping at Fogarty Creek S.P. It's only a day use park, and I believe it's open at 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. There's a nice campground about 10 mi. south at Beverly Beach. Turn left off of Hwy. 101.
