We had a great time, the host we're all pleasant. The showers are a little work pushing the button to keep the water coming out. It depended on which one you were in

We were on a long road trip and planned on staying in one of the many forest service campgrounds in the area, but we got lucky and scored a last minute cancellation for a waterfront site at this huge state park. The park is very...More

Went to visit some friends that were staying their for the Fourth of July weekend. The park was packed, as expected, but the forrrest service staff were helpful, the facilities were clean, and the "neighbors" were nice.

This was our first time camping at Detroit State Park. We enjoyed our three days there. We had so much to do from walking around parts of the lake to fishing. But most of all relaxing on the lake on and off our boat.

Sounds like bad data. I'd call the park and ask the ranger.

Yes, in the summer. The path to the swimming area has a few rocks and can be muddy sometimes but the lake is nice and fairly warm in the summer.
