The work done here is vital. It is amazing to see these birds of pray up close. They even take some out and allow them to do show off a little. Great for children both to learn and enjoy seeing these amazing creatures. The price is very affordable too!

This place is a treat for getting to learn about and see all types of raptors and a few other birds. I volunteered there back in college, and I loved it!

So glad to see these amazing birds are being rehabbed (in most cases). Worth seeing up-close. NOT a zoo. Great for kids.

What could be more inspiring than to get up-close and personal with hawks, owls and other raptors. Don't miss this one.

We met some people who volunteer at the Raptor Centre, and they invited us to visit. Since we were driving north, we stopped at this place, near Eugene, OR. They had several raptors (birds of prey) to see, all of which were non-releasable due to injuries or having been rescued from the pet trade :( However, they did have a... More

I took my granddaughter and we had a wonderful time viewing all the great birds they are housing. We started with the gathering talk with a bird specialist and went from there. It is amazing the work and rehab these folks do, and it's right here in Eugene.

The Raptor Center is nestled among a treed area with a dirt path. There is some mild climbing involved. There is nothing fancy about the center but provides a fun and learning experience, especially for children. There are many types of raptors that have been saved and cannot survive out on their own. The staff is knowledgable and explain the... More

Amazing array of raptors. Yes they are in cages, but you can get up close and personal. The grounds are well maintained with gravel footpaths. The birds have informative placards outside each cage. The center is on hilly ground, so you got some ups and downs to see everything. The gift shop is reasonably priced. I had a nice time... More
