This is a relatively easy hike and was beautiful. The dunes are amazing and the sand is so fine it's like trudging through snow. The beach is wide open and tranquil. Not a lot of people on this trail until you get back to the...More

We did the marked trail, fantastic experiens to walk in the sand that was like powder. I was comparing it to walking in snow. In both cases if you push to much with the front of the foot, you slide a half a step back....More

Majestic, ever changing landscape. I like it best after a windy day when footprints disappear. It is a long hike to the ocean especially when the sand is dry

Took trail to see sand dunes up close. After a relatively short and not too difficult hike we were amazed at the wonderful "sandscape". It was lots of fun climbing the tallest dunes. Wished we brought along a cardboard box to use to sled down....More

We walked from the parking lot to the dunes through the forest. The dunes walk was interesting, but I expected to get to the beach; we never did. It was an interesting experience, but I think there were probably more interesting walks that we missed.

It was a great hike. I think the worst parts were the beginning when you first get to the dune and the wind gusts. I don't know if it is that windy all the time or just that day. Other wise it is worth the...More
